Bettina, you are a national treasure.

The root cause of this is feminism. Society pretends feminism is good. The reality is the opposite.

Yesterday one of the women's support associations was on the ABC making the case for housing to be built for the purpose of providing accommodation for female domestic violence sufferer's.

About 7 years ago in my suburb, the tax payers paid for the outright purchase of a ex convent, and its significant modification/upgrade, for that same purpose. It can house i think up to 40 women and their children. They have a bus, also tax payer paid for.

The ex convent covers about 14 + acres and is landscaped and has full time maintenance and gardening staff. Its dam near being a holiday resort! It was heritage listed, but that did not stop them from changing everything accept the facade.

From what i can work out when i drive past every few days of so, it is never even close to full and the bus has weeds growing up around it.

No mention by the politician's and media about all of the thousands of men who have to live on mates couches, in mates garages, In their vehicles or at back packer hostels. No support is available or on offer. The horror stories are endless but rarely made public. no consideration at all is given to their welfare!

They cannot visit and spend time with their children, they have crippling legal bills and family maintenance costs. Often they are left without transport and are restricted by maliciously obtained restraining orders. Most cannot afford legal council and it is impossible for them to defend themselves against this biased sexist social pandemic.

The revolving door for vexatious and malicious restraining orders has been going on for years. It is getting much worse. To the point it appears a playbook is handed out by women's support organizations that councils how to use the system to their acrimonious, vexatious and maliciously driven advantage.

And it is no surprise that the Police are thoroughly overloaded. Even when they know allegations are bullshit, they have to act upon the allegations. Now they are, in some states, expected to rubber stamp the allegations without seeking information from the other party.
