Utterly outrageous decision from the Albanese government - cutting all funding for prostate cancer nurses. They are switching funding to the McGrath Foundation, so that the specialist nurses who look after breast cancer will also handle prostate care. This is sickening. I fought for years for more funding for prostate cancer nurses! Dan Rapacholi has said he is delighted by this decision. But LLew O'Brien spoke out in parliament last night condemning the decision. See the video on X- https://x.com/TheRealMenToo/status/2097169375321346251.

We need to make a fuss about this. PCFA will be calling on all supporters to back their campaign against this decision.Email enquiries@pcfa.org.au to join our mailing list.

Why does this government hate men so much?

All a disgruntled woman has to do is to call the cops on her husband or boyfriend and accuse him of rape or child abuse. From that moment, she's a victim and he's a sex crime suspect.

"if we’re ever going to break free from our current toxic, anti-male culture, we need a lot more Llew O’Briens and a lot fewer Dan Repacholis." Same in the UK. There are too many people who think there is something wrong with masculinity, and that helping men and boys means is all about fixing masculinity. Meanwhile all the real problems facing men and boys (e.g. family courts, false allegations) are ignored https://www.centreformalepsychology.com/male-psychology-magazine-listings/the-all-party-parliamentary-group-report-on-issues-affecting-men-and-boys-is-a-welcome-step-in-the-right-direction

The problem the left is going to have here (and make no mistake, this has been driven by the left) is that men generally don't complain when they feel the game is rigged. They just leave.

The leftist parties require men to accept a place of cultural and political dhimmitude in order to be a member in good standing. Which is why guys like Scott Galloway have to do a 15-minute throat clearing about the virtues of feminism before uttering some banal male talking point. So they probably will never address the fundamental reasons why no self-respecting man wants anything to do with them.

The younger generation of men, who grew up marinated in girls-rule Schrodinger feminism have been largely estranged from society, and don't feel like they owe anything to people who treat them as defective widgets that need to be re-programmed. Some are actively rebelling, while others are just checking out.

This gets interesting because married men are the engine of production and tax revenue. Single men can get by on very little. They are unlikely to want to work a North Dakota natural gas rig in January or sling asphalt on a Houston highway in July. Men overwhelmingly run the infrastructure that society relies upon.

MGTOW (for lack of a better word) will have some profound economic implications. Shaming men into shutting up is easy. Shaming them into caring about your problems is a lot harder.

I loved this comment from beginning (the "dhimmitude" of men) to end.

So perfectly constructed to the conclusion...

"Shaming men into shutting up is easy. Shaming them into caring about your problems is a lot harder."

Of course, government, especially Albo's Labor government, but also the LNP if they get back into power, will address any problems by throwing more taxpayer $Billions towards shaming men into caring about society's problems, but, as you say, it will only ever work in one direction for the majority of men and boys, and the coming economic disaster will be catastrophic. Along the way, and we are already seeing this, men will not join the police, military of fire-services, and stop volunteering for the CFS, or anything else where we have traditionally contributed as volunteers.

My personal story WRT volunteering is that I've stopped volunteering in Catholic Parishes, where the dhimmitude of men is as prevalent as anywhere else, but the reaction is quite a bit slower - men are still showing up and contributing with their eyes closed to the feminist takeover of the RCC, and our status as Dhimmis.

Thanks for the kind words and the subscription.

Feminism is the ideological North Star of all left and center / left parties these days. Women feel like they are finally getting their day in the sun and aren’t about to share power with a demographic they loathe.

Since more women than men identify as LGBTQ, straight white men are the biggest demographic in the US (assuming Australia as well) and these political parties are doing everything they can to drive them away.

At the end of the day, politics is a sales business and any business that thinks it can hector customers into buying their product is doomed.

Hi Bettina, thanks for the info, another great article. Hope you're not too put out, now that you're being overtaken by a new "queen of the Australian men’s rights movement". Perhaps some well overdue rest is needed. "Virtue-signaling" radar on, I will advance carefully through the political landscape looking for sincerity. Now that's a tough one!

Thank you for stirring up my grey matter. Normally it’s not pleasant being made to actually think, but you certainly provide the incentive! Bravo!

Thank you Bettina for all your work in men ' s favour .

After 3 generations , the last " victimhood" ends badly in turmoils, as usual .

No doubt, feminism will soon go to dustbins, even in Australia !

We just be careful about Midterm US elections, but even if it means a Trump setback , the rule that never failed ( 10tn times) will be true : ALL political "Victimhoods " end badly !

Thanks God the most dangerous one is ending. But we must be careful ! Politicians will try again this easy access to power. They ought to fail at the very start !

Great article Bettina. Please keep up this very important battle.

I'd like to know what your thoughts on the Warren Pickering/One Nation's press conference re his past relationship.

The Warren Pickering/One Nation press conference today was one of the most impressive response that I have seen on so many levels.

He owned a particularly difficult period in his life when as an eighteen year old young man who fell under the influence of a troubled women/mother, ten years his elder.

After 18 years,  he extradited himself from the toxic relationship and, with the four children, one his own, he set out to rebuild his life and a life for the children. He went on to join and serve his country in the ADF.

In different circumstances he would be lauded as a powerful example of how we can rebuild our lives. He realised the importance of "service".

He is also a powerful example of female coercion.  A wonderful example of what a good man can be and achieve despite ongoing abuse and harassment by his ex.

Finally, the most important thing was that they refused to be demeaned and/or intimidated by the media or uniparties. They could have walked away, forced Warren to step down, but they didn't walk past the behaviour, they called out.

God bless democracy.

Kind regards

This is an excerpt from my article, “Binary Victimhood” at https://virilitas11.substack.com/p/binary-victimhood. It may explain why men are 80% of suicides while women attempt suicide 3 to 4 times more often. For women, suicide is a way to ask for help. Men can’t ask for help so they die.

Victimhood is binary. Women can be victims. Men can't.

Women are encouraged to complain. More than this, victimhood for women is well-nigh demanded.

I believe these characteristics were imposed on us by sexual selection. Women have always looked for mates who were strong, productive, generous, and protective---men who could help women raise children. This has encouraged men to be chivalrous, clever enough to solve any problem, and able to provide food, shelter, and protection.

Men who could not provide these things, or were weak, or were victims, or had too many problems of their own were avoided by women. These men could not provide for and protect women and their children. This has led men to feel that they must be alpha-males, and they are not allowed to be or appear to be victims. And men aren’t allowed to complain.

Conversely, women's victimhood can be quite embellished. Women are allowed to complain, and they do constantly. By being or appearing to be victims they can more easily identify the men who are able and willing to help them. Women can also quickly identify and ignore the men who won’t or can’t help them.

I believe that not allowing men to be victims contributes to some serious consequences for men. For example, because a man cannot admit to being a victim, he, therefore, is not allowed to ask for or receive help for his problems. This must be very frustrating. I suspect that this frustration often leads to many of the problems usually associated with men---alcohol and drug abuse, crime, suicide, and violence.

Tony Abbott please take note of Llew O'Brien, National Party MP, 2026. I don't think he will sit mute and like a stunned bunny when some bigoted anti-male activist calls him, and all Australian men by default, a 'misogynist'. What perfect marxist style projecting was that. Accuse your enemy of being what you are yourself. And where is she now? She was chair of Beyond Blue for 6 years and every one of those 6 years were used to channel support away from men. And where are all the men that were on the Mental Health Commission in 2012 when Tony Abbott sat in silence? They're all gone!

Llew O'Brien has my vote. Say "NO" to the Australian Laboral Party and anyone else that won't stand up for men. Once again, thanks Bettina for another great article
