25 days and counting since having any contact with my son. The system is being used as a weapon against me.

Kaydee's avatar

I know to well, the system are destroying children and dads. It’s evil.

Doug Bearham's avatar

I feel bad/sorry for the people without a legal degree or $15000-$20000 to throw around What are they supposed to do? Grin and bare it?

Kaydee's avatar

Honestly it is sad to waste $15000-$20000 on in competent lawyers, men should have a go in Court they might surprise themselves.

Doug Bearham's avatar

I agree but I wouldn't want to risk my time with my kids on my own legal skills. One mental blank under pressure and you/them could be screwed. The court plays for keeps.

Doug Bearham's avatar

I know you might not want to hear it, but it took me two-three years to get through all the BS. Cost a fortune. Really needless. Don't let her get away with it. If nothing else know that your son needs you. The science says single fathers raise better/more successful kids than single mothers. Also, every man who comes after needs you to stand up and fight this with everything you have. They have gotten away with this for too long. The bare minimum or abuse claims and nothing at all. They just expect you to walk away and take whatever you get offered. Magistrates etc get used to handing most time to the mother against the interests of the child they will just continue.

Doug Bearham's avatar

Quote from the above page "For example, studies have found that children that from single-mother households are 5 times more likely to commit suicide than children from both unbroken households and single-father households, 9 times more likely to drop out of high school, 10 times more likely to abuse chemical substances, 14 times more likely to commit rape, 20 times more likely to end up in prison and 32 times more likely to run away from home.

The list does not stop there, single-mother households also account for 70% of all teen pregnancies, 70% of all child murders, and they account for the majority of filicide cases, which means yes, a child living in a single-mother household is the most likely to be murdered by their parent."

Yet the family court still favour single mothers?

Ken Lydon's avatar

Very relevant , when you say “children” the effects of single mother homes is different for boys as opposed to girls . To say a boy needs his father is true ,a good father will protect his son from the influence of a bitter or otherwise misguided mother , who may try to turn her children against the father out of revenge , parental alienation.

Single mothers are often bitter and aggrieved about a failed relationship , they see the son of the man they despise as an easy target , the boy has no defence obviously and will blame himself for his mother’s unhappiness.

Family courts when deciding on who gets custody of children should take this into account , the damage they are doing by separating boys from fathers is criminal.

Been calling it out for a decade after it happened to me. My story is absolutely insane. I'd imagine it's not isolated, either. It's all part and parcel of the war on men and fathers. The consequences of which are going to be and already look horrendous. Look at the school shootings and trans phenom!? The psychopaths are trying to rid the world of their only viable opposition: men and boys.

Greg Allan's avatar

I was OK with a feminism which critiqued men but when they turned their attention to boys during the nineties they crossed a boundary. Cowards and child abusers.

MrStephenTee's avatar

I'm not okay with feminism at all. Criticism is one thing; feminism is something else entirely. It seems to me you need to do more learning about feminism and its origins. Janice Fiamengo is a great source, especially her YouTube videos if you reading avers https://fiamengofile.substack.com/

Greg Allan's avatar

Stephen, I was battling feminists before you were born.

MrStephenTee's avatar

You're assuming how old I am. Don't assume. ASS U ME. You also diminish your credibility... you and I don't want that.

Beverley Morrison's avatar

How very true Stephen. I feel so very sorry for the men of today. I also believe the femenatzies have a huge role to play in raising children who become “gay” or those kids “believing” they are in the wrong body.

MrStephenTee's avatar

It's the kids and the future I worry about. We've already seen the result in the US with school shooter parents. It's not a coincidence they are all single mothers!! It's the exact same antisocial phenomenon, and yes, it's psychopathic.

I particularly like this comment by Bettina: “There’s been successful fight-back against feminist efforts to claim parental alienation doesn’t exist.”

Frank Anning's avatar

Keep it up, the feminist mafia are a tough lot harming men and warping female thinking.

Ken Lydon's avatar

Australian universities are nothing but feminist /Marxist indoctrination centres , since the 1970’s and the push by Labor governments to get more girls to go onto university rather than the workforce . But many of these females were not good academically and would have been better served doing manual work .

But the Marxists could not brainwash them there , better to get them into the universities , so “special” courses were introduced on “soft” subjects so that the young women could get degrees easily on largely useless things like womens studies or basket weaving.

The education of these women was only secondary it was the indoctrination which was the Marxists aim, it started in primary schools where most teachers are women , the “anti men” message was drummed into children with girls especially vulnerable to the propaganda. Universities finished the job , women graduates carry the seed of radical feminism in their subconscious minds.

Contrast that to the hypothetical young woman who leaves school at 15 and enters the workforce , the “real” world where men still dominate mostly , here the feminist tentacles cannot reach . Sadly manufacturing industries which once gave many jobs to women on production lines have vanished from Australia and similar Western countries , this gives the excuse to push even more young women into the universities for indoctrination .

Doug Bearham's avatar

I think STEM was holding out in the unis. Now there is a big push to get the girls into those subjects all because they are male dominated.

Ken Lydon's avatar

The idea that every field should have compulsory equal gender participation is madness , from early childhood boys will play with toy guns and mechanical things while girls play with dolls and similar. Evolution dictated this for the survival of the human race and nothing will change this.

Why can’t the feminists be happy about being women and the onerous role of childbearing , something men can never do.

They think women can be and do both roles , reality says otherwise .

Doug Bearham's avatar

Funny how there is no push to get men into female dominated industries.

Kaydee's avatar

Oh I could hear the outrage if males did breast screening. To be honest I prefer male gynaecologists to female. They have a more sensitive respectful nature.

In 1995 at a psychodrama training week in Melbourne a New Zealand woman told us of how she got angry at some Professors in Edinburgh over, something like this: "while you people are standing around arguing about your methods, ideas, what is best etc., etc., there are children suffering and they matter more!"

So this Parental Alienation and Professional Alienation has been going on for all these years.

Thank you Bettina for shining a light on this behaviour.

I'm still sending out good vibes to Professor Fiona Girkin 🙏🕯

WOW, it’s actually like you are going through court with us, pretty much everything you have said relates to exactly what my partner is going through right now. It’s so unfair & unnecessary. I watched him cry as he struggled to know what to write in his 6 year olds birthday card because he was scared he’d write the wrong thing, how could it be misinterpreted or am I allowed to write that, things like, I miss you, can’t wait to see (just in case it doesn’t happen) it broke my heart. The system is broken & one sided & women know this & take full advantage of it. And of course the Labor government play a huge part in it, they don’t want good strong men raising their kids, they want to raise our children to control & manipulate the next generation of controllable adults.

Greg Allan's avatar

"And of course the Labor government play a huge part in it"

The ALP was originally created by working class family men, a demographic they now seem to hate with a vengeance. Courtesy of an extended family deeply entrenced in the party I've given more than half my life in active service to them, including numerous entire election campaigns. The only service I could provide them with now would be as a conscience. At this time no man should be voting for them.

Ken Lydon's avatar

All those men who have been alienated against their children by the laws of the state and procedures of the police and justice system should form a class action for damages , money is the only language corrupt state governments understand . Imagine a claim running into billions of dollars against a state , ie. Queensland or WA.

Can this be done in Australia? If not why not ?

Anna Tas's avatar

More possible now. If PPDs are brought into QLD, use the High Court’s decision in Burns v Corbett to show PPDs are unconstitutional (police exercising State jurisdiction in federal family law matters). Too easy. For Tas PFVOs, again use Burns. The failed Tas JAILI attempt years ago had the constitutional argument the wrong way around. Any state protection order will be invalid according to s109 of the Cth Constitution if a family law order conflicts with it. A big problem for PPDs and PFVOs. See P v P decision. Legal aid can’t/won’t help respondents, so it has to be a private law firm. This would frighten the hell out of corrupt governments. The other states/territories don’t have the Burns limitation vulnerability for protection orders yet because the orders are provisional, not final.

Ken Lydon's avatar

It’s good that you have a wide knowledge of these things , but what does “PPD”. and PFVO mean? , so many acronyms it’s hard to keep track of the latest changes.

Anna Tas's avatar

PPDs are Queensland’s proposed Police Protection Directions, where police will be able to issue on the spot family violence orders lasting 12 months. A person can be “ousted” from their home immediately, for example. They are based on Tasmania’s PFVOs, or Police Family Violence Orders. There is no due process. This is judicial power exercised by police, as Justice Gageler made clear regarding paperless arrests in the High Court’s decision in NAAJA. With police it is a lottery. A lot rides on their opinions rather than process.

Kaydee's avatar

Anna Tas, it concerns me how a police officer in Queensland who maybe a single person with no knowledge of life can come and throw someone out of their home. I know of a young male who allowed his girlfriend to live at his unit, she claimed DV and he had to leave. The funny thing was his middle aged female boss stood up for him so he wouldn’t be stood down from his job. She worked herself with a lot of nasty young females and saw it for what it was a bunch of lies.

It does astound me how Qld police are given powers that only a Magistrate should decide. So much for David Crissafullis Liberal Government as bad as Labor.

Ken Lydon's avatar

It’s dangerous to give so much power to police , they will abuse it for sure as has been shown in the past. Police are given weapons to protect themselves and the public but often abuse the right with innocent people suffering and dying.

Does this also means that the order made the cop for 12 months can not be appealed in the same way an order from the magistrates court?

It’s interesting that Queensland is doing this under a Liberal government , proof that both major parties are controlled by Marxist /feminists .

The only hope is that a man who is subject to one of these orders immediately sues the individual cop for damages.

I want to call it "a stolen generation"

Kaydee's avatar

Tracey

It is exactly a stolen generation. Children who grow to adults will discover they were ripped away from their parent because of the so called ‘do goods’ from government. I will give you an example a Child Safety Officer in Queensland stated her title was Child Expert, she had no children of her own, the most she knew was what she read in a book. This woman now works in the Family Court. These are people who can take away a child from their Father, this destroys the child if the they are stolen based on lies from man hating Government employees, is this any different when aboriginal children were stolen from parents.

realprodigalma's avatar

From a woman's perspective, I am experiencing parental alienation first hand and it is crippling. The collusion and coercion with the children to present false allegations is wild. Child support should NEVER be approved if the other parent claims alienation. The system should be integrated and lawyers should be penalised and disbarred if they're intervention is found to have inflamed or exploited the situation to further the division rather than move toward resolution. Lawyers should be rewarded for working toward reasonable resolution. And questions should be asked about cirecumstances around 1 parent being able to afford a lawyer and the other parent being forced to self represent.

Mike's avatar

I find it ironic that Parental Alienation Awareness Day (April 25) coincides with ANZAC Day, which commemorates the day that so many men were sent to be slaughtered at Gallipoli in 1915, illustrating the anthropic maxim of male disposability.

1. The sad truth: "... the bottom line is the parent who has the power, namely the custodial parent, is the one best placed to alienate the other parent from the children. And in our court system, as is true across the Western World, we have handed that power to mothers in spades. And boy are they making the most of it."

2. There is too much power to be kept by the courts and too much money to be made by many law firms and some biased therapists as experts to have motivation to do the right thing to protect children. They won't say it but the reality is children (faceless to them) are nothing more than "collateral damage." They don't have to painfully observe the sadness, crying, depression or longing.

3. The suffering, trauma and depression is real and suffered, without the necessary tools to do so, for an entire childhood, leaving them as adults to process what they don't likely recognize is going on in their minds and negatively, subconsciously impacting their life decisions.

Carl Dari's avatar

Yes, the feminist attempt to remove parental alienation from the list luckily has failed. But we have to be careful as they will lead new attempts I am sure.

Thank you Bettina for your relentless efforts. You are my hero.

Derpetology101's avatar

Parental alienation can be very insidious. It's rarely as simple as "Your dad's an asshole" or telling outright lies. It can be things like expressing fear or anxiety in the presence of a partner or being overly protective of the children when the partner is disciplining them. It can be undermining authority by allowing children to do things the partner has told them they can't, especially if it's kept secret. It's not even strictly necessary to run down the partner, since part of the goal is to be the preferred parent. Most men are not able to see these behaviors for what they really are, particularly in someone they love.

Kaydee's avatar

Queensland new coercive control laws include children being exposed to DV. This could be arguing in the presence of children. The dad then could be locked up for 14 years. I can see the lies told by the mother to get the dad locked up.
