"the toxic sludge of feminist claptrap"

I'll have to remember that one. <lol> :-)

Can't quite bring my self to petition to defund the UN since the October 7th war began; as the UN seems to be, or house, one of the few facets of global-political influence for the Palestinian peoples, the underdogs IMO. But the rest of your article was superb, Bettina. Thank you and Dr. Nuzzo for all your work.

Its this same entrenched cultural Marxism and self-centered blindness that is at the heart of the DEI empire; one that is now treading the lofty but supremely dangerous playa of mass delusion.

Doctor Nuzzo, you’re a hero and more power to you (and Bettina) for exposing the ever increasing feminist takeover of just about everything. Looking at the NHMRC expenditure is a real eye opener notably the decrease in funding for Men’s health over the years and the much smaller amounts allocated. Men and (male) Adolescent’s (mental) health needs more funding now and in the future to cope with the biased, baseless, feminutsy power mongering and control now taking place everywhere.

James Nuzzo is a good speaker and a pleasure to listen too , an asset to the mens movement . The Edith Cowan University in WA is a feminist stronghold ,they don’t tolerate independent thinkers who might ask questions about the bias against men.

Typical of Universities in Australia , feminism has stifled free speech and debate on ALL subjects, the very things universities are there for .

Bettina’s criticism of the senior academics was justified ,good journalism there , no more pussy footing call a spade a spade . She is right to say it is “frightening” how indoctrinated and closed minded these senior academics are, they should be open to different views and opinions .

Great interview Bettina! Thanks. Jim Nuzzo is probably my favorite researcher and a wonderful man who stands up for what he knows is right. Now that is science. Loved the discussion

Warren Farrell pointed out many years ago that the UN gender material was skewed and politicized. I'm not drawn to sign a petition against this aspect of the UN. They are utterly corrupt and part of the New World Order globalist crowd. For me pointing to their gender nonsense gives the impression that they are otherwise good faith actors and can be helped to see more wisely with some encouragement. I don't think that's true.

Use the time to share some of Bettina's or James' post instead or use your own voice to talk to someone who might actually listen.

"... he’s now decided that our chat was off the record. How’s that for retrospective revoked consent?"

IANAL but that would appear to be a breach of contract, particularly if it was specifically agreed that the interview was on the record. I presume you have simply decided to be nice to Professor Ward.

I wonder if he regrets adding his name to the list of authors. I guess that's just one of those professorial protocol things.

Two things will have to happen, before the current situation improves:

1. Any academics submitting dubiously supported assertions as TRUTH should have the publication rejected (or if published , the journal should be investigated for academic rigour0.

3. Any individuals or groups who carry out a targeted personal attack on their critics should be liable to pay damages to the reputation of that individual with court costs included, regardless OF whether the allegations are true or not. What matters is the idea that a person expresses, NOT the personality of the person who expresses it.

Thanks again Bettina for bringing this guy to my attention. Looks like he's been doing some great work filling in the gaping information gap when it comes to true academic research and actual research findings in the field of sports medicine, and beyond. Great interview too. I noticed our trustworthy and reliable PM was into aboriginal truth telling in the aftermath of his drubbing on the voice, and fresh from his betrayal of the Australian people on tax cuts. Of particular note Albo recently hosted a breakfast for UN Women where it was claimed on utterly spurious grounds that IPV was caused by men not being able to handle too much equality (??). I'm pretty certain none of James' excellent research on quantifying the sheer volume UN propaganda never got raised with the croissant-eating crowd. Over 30 twitter accounts spewing out nonsense daily! I knew it was bad but I didn't know it was that bad!

Love the sludge metaphor. I'm starting to think, optimistically, that the story arc of academic feminism is classical hubris. So convinced of their own righteousness are they that they no longer care for drudgery of doing research (if they ever did in the first place ...). It will be their undoing.

Hi Bettina,

Many thanks for your regular blogs and updates on our shared gender conserns, the feminists must be excited that our male boys and men are being classed as second rate citizens as part of society.

James does great work, some of which I've read. Thank you, Bettina, for calling our attention to it and for highlighting another example of corrupt scholarship that is promoted by feminist extremists. In the US we are still shaking our heads at the drivel that bought Claudine Gay to the top of Harvard University (not to mention that it was not even original with her). Academia has long since chosen to pursue "my truth" over the contest and debate of true scholarship. Hence the decline in the quality of professional journals continues. More power to James, to you, and to your supporters.
