Sadly we are now being subtly manipulated with films like this. https://be-the-change.com.au/the-film

And it's a national disgrace that in the wake of 'consent training' in schools, this type of tale is not told at school. Both girls and boys need to be aware of the trauma created and miscarriage of justice in this troubling vignette. Andrew and Fran are examples of the cataclysmic effects of groupthink so rife in our schooling institutions. Fran failed to follow any personal convictions on the matter -- she fell into the trap of the 'madness of crowds'. Andrew was the prey to these maddening crowds. And the universities? Vice-chancellors, slick and cushioned in fat pay checks, need to take some advice from Dietrich Bonhoeffer's 'Theory of Stupidity'.

This is a very interesting story about ‘Andrew’ and his experience at an NSW university because of alleged sexual misconduct. I find it fascinating how this university responded when compared to the willingness of another (or perhaps it was the same) university who readily accepted $100,000 of taxpayer’s money to allow Michael Guider to study for and receive a bachelor’s degree in Archaeology and Palaeoanthropology. Just for the record Michael Guider is the killer of 9-year-old Samantha Knight in 1986. He has never revealed her burial site and yet this child killer was released by the unelected Judge Richard Button on the arguments tended in court by Sydney based barristers for Guider known as Georgia Lewer and Matthew Johnston. They invented some novel arguments as reported by The Daily Telegraph journalist Janet Fife-Yeomans on 4 September, 2019. They claimed among other things that Guider was “Less likely to reoffend and sexually assault boys and girls “hands on” when he gets out because child pornography has caught up with the modern digital world where it is readily available”. Your read this right. It seems that access to child pornography is not only encouraged but condoned by Lewer and Johnston as the best way to reward a child killer to suppress his sexual urges. And all of this under the watchful eye of an elected representative of the people known as Mark Speakman, the NSW Attorney General. It's grotesque. So ‘Andrew’ gets pilloried for something that was dismissed in a criminal court, yet Guider is embraced by a NSW university for the killing of an innocent child.

We're getting closer... almost on the rim of the plug hole now.

Thank you Bettina for exposing the injustice in our universities. To think my late father ( a POW) sacrificed all for these unintelligent hooligans cowtowing to the feminist groups.

Bring back conscription for these dead beats and they may learn a little about human and ethical values.

I won't waste my time waiting though!

Whatever happened to equality? I thought that was a feminist battle, but apparently not. A friend of mine was demonized at his university by the feminazis but fortunately the administration supported him.

Expand full comment

It was never about equality and always about equity - special privilege for Women while demonising Men.

Feminism is cancer

Expand full comment

Feminism has only ever been about power and privilege for women. Most women go along with it because they are vain and venal. When have feminists ever, in the history of feminism, championed men's rights? I could ask the same about women in general, but Bettina proves that there are a few women who are prepared to, at great personal cost. It's just a shame the rest are so corrupt.

A sad reflection of the odium that is poured on young men and boys. Roger Franklin reported on a recent twitter 'storm' with a young man setting out the US school environment for males at https://quadrant.org.au/opinion/qed/2022/06/expanding-a-feminist-professors-education/

Bettina, as always, an account that leaves one in disbelief - how is this allowed to continue?

Do you have a succession plan, an understudy that you are mentoring? Who will shine the light on these inequities when you no longer do?

It strikes me that rabid feminists are less consumed by concern for their "abused" sisters, than by hatred of men. Is this hatred possibly founded on self-loathing? Maybe we should feel sorry for them.

I think I must be looking very old because I have had other people mention the succession problem! We are looking at setting up a foundation to try to ensure ongoing work when I am in my nursing home!

Nothing wrong with your looks, Tina. The concern is the fact that you appear as a one-woman-band without support staff. Who'll carry the cudgels when you're no longer there? You may decide that enough's enough, or you could be swept off your feet and carried off, or you could, heaven forbid, be run over by a bus. It was a succession planning question from a management perspective :)

Johann, you wrote to Bettina, "Do you have a succession plan?"

I think that all of us who subscribe to Subtrak, for a very modest amount, can consider that we are all part of the "succesion plan". I certainly hope so.

The scariest thing is that the rules of law in our legal system are also being changed in order to obtain more convictions in cases of alleged sexual assault. This is being driven, I understand by academics.

Some feminists are simply insane, and the institutions don't have the mettle to stand up to them. It is such a dishonest movement, displacing men from university careers while empowering women doing vanity course, in careers they don't really stay in for very long. There's no accounting for cost benefit because logic is not a feminine characteristic. Another example is the recent pillorying of two footballers for rating females on a scale of one to ten, or another who made a move to expose a breast, but didn't. Massive over reaction in this feminist hell to normal blokes.

Thank you for your courage, hard work and commitment. I don't understand why there are not more men's groups fighting back. I'm a man and I see many men who are more committed to their sports team. Even when they have sons. I do understand it's not always so simple. I could do more. You've inspired me and given me hope. Thanks again

I've often thought that I should attend a women's study's class and learn how they wield power. Adapt their game plan but not sure I could take the radical feminist 😊 It would be helpful to learn how women and civil rights groups formed and were so successful.

Feminists exist to rage against the patriarchy as they see it and because they have no real influence over the powerful men in the world. Their only real purpose is to bully ordinary men with the misdirected grievances and defame ordinary men as undiscovered abusers. The Trans movement are the only arguable lobby effective at taking down feminists. Therein lies the rub. Given that the LGBT+ movement are now going after the feminists holy grail (children) the fight is only getting started. Ordinary blokes just need to find the La-Z-Boy and get the popcorn ready because this will be a doozy. This is what lies ahead for the feminist movement https://youtu.be/a6gjD8qwsJ0

All I can say is I'm very glad I went to university at the time I did. Those attitudes were somewhat prevalent in late 1970s and early 1980s but nothing like the inane prudishness and identity politics intolerance of modern university life.

It seems like the evidentiary standards in our Magistrates Courts (beyond reasonable doubt) and Family Courts (balance opf porbability) have been reduced to the same evidentiary stanards used by the Universities Kangaroo Courts ~ the "duluth model" and the shrill feminist misandristic fallacious ad hominems "believe all women (even when they lie)", "only women can be victims", "women don't lie about rape", etc

We are seeing militant modern feminist bullying our governments into amending (and expanding) laws so that the laws not only reflect to low-bar evidentiary standards forund in all feminist-controlled universities but also remove the legal ';presumoption of innocence', 'due process' and 'procedural fairness'

We are at peak Weimar at this point, the future will not be pretty.

Least of all, for Women.

Oh William, the Duluth model, practised in "Men's Behaviuor Programmes". Very, very scary and no follow up for those attendees at risk from self harm, but hey, they deserved it. The attendees written assessments (demanded by the mostly unqualified courrce "leaders") can also be used as evidence in Family Court and Criminal Court proceedings.

BTW, if about 30% of DV is women against men, where is my local "Women's Behaviour Programme" situated?

The radical feminists do not comprehend historical realities.

They see a future in which their lust for exclusive female domination of the planet will be ever satiated and universalised.

Historical reality is that the pendulums of fashion and shallow ideology swing to and fro and, concomitantly, the barrel inevitably turns and a new ethic bursts forth.

What emerging evidence tells me, is that nations are abandoning the US Empire, radical sexual power wars are on the back-swing, rights of defense are defeating rights of repression, and that most women have had a gutsfull of feminists.

I would guess that within three years, most radical feminists will be denying their former positions, and many of their leaders will face social and possibly legal approbrium.

The only reason they gained milage in the first place is that Rupert Murdoch and the Rockefeller's Trilateral Commission saw them as a useful vehicle for divide and rule. I would bet money that Murdoch will either be in prison in two years, or be dead. I also suspect that the Rockefellers and Rothschilds will no longer exist in five years.

In such a climate of universal vengeance and recrimination, I would not give much for a rad fems' chances of survival either. Way too many people got hurt. As for the academics and vice chancellors who went along for the ride, as the flames leap ever-higher, I expect we will see them leaping from the Ivory Towers. Metaphorically, of course. All the same, I will be removing any foam rubber matresses from the vicinity.

I can't see any chance of change in the short term. Yes, there is some kick-back against the trans issue but hardly a peep about the grip of feminism on all our institutions. I've been talking to journalists today about this issue and they all say no one dares take this one on because they would come under such fierce personal attack.

Give me time, Bettina, give me time. LOL.

At the moment I am engaged in delicate negotiations with Canberra over official recognition of Aboriginal Law, and any shit fight repels Aborigines because they just want to get away from intense disrespect. But as soon as this is over I will line up some Aboriginal women as a back stop, but I won't let the fems know that until they strike back. Give them rope, so to speak.

Expand full comment

I wish you luck. While the left props up Aborigines, mostly to their detriment, to virtue signal you going against them as an Aborigine?... Well, lets just say you'll finally get to know what it's like to be treated like a White Man... Hell, probably worse. They know the White Man is their enemy but you would be seen as a traitor.

Expand full comment

That is simplistic claptrap. The enemy of Aborigines is the globalist elite, who is just as much the enemy of all peoples. The Aboriginal genocide is calculated and deliberate, but has now been extended to all peoples in the form of a mRNA democide. But for most Aborigines, this is an unknown circumstance because such knowledge is not available to people who speak little English. In the cities, there are radical Aborignes who do believe their enemy is the white man, but they are fools. My closest ally is Aboriginal but knows everything I know. Not far behind him are others who are catching on fast. The internet is changing the tide and bringing knowledge to all who want to understand. Time is on our side.
