Interesting word "obedience" bettina has dealt with that (mutual respect) and i agree. But the fcat is men MUST be obedient! The wife (partner or whatever) holds all the aces. If you do not keep your mouth shut and just accept endless unearned criticism without defending yourself, your children will be turned against you (as anyone else she can find to tell lies about you). Young men are seeing this happen to others and are very wary of marriage .
